Established in 1955, Harwinton West Side Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to providing high quality fire and rescue services to its residents and visitors.
Operations
The Harwinton West Side Volunteer Fire Department responds to a wide range of emergency and public service calls throughout the community, including fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, storm-related incidents, and mutual aid requests. Our members train regularly, maintain department apparatus and equipment, and work closely with dispatch, EMS, town officials, and neighboring departments to ensure a safe, coordinated, and professional response whenever help is needed.
